A glance at your calendar will confirm that tomorrow is, in fact, one of the scariest dates EVER. No, boys, it's not Valentine's Day (yet), but Friday the 13th. And for film fans, that can only mean one thing... the return of hockey-masked psycho Jason Voorhees.

Almost 30 years after Sean S Cunningham's original teen slasher scared the beejeebus out of audiences in 1980, German film-maker Marcus Nispel is resurrecting Jason for a brand spanking new Friday the 13th - a movie that looks set to thrill cinema-goers all over again.

If You Go Down to the Woods Today...

Supernatural star Jared Padalecki plays Clay who, while searching for his missing sister, finds himself smack bang in the eerie woods of the legendary Crystal Lake. And the creaky remains of rotting old cabins aren't the only things lying in wait behind the trees. But Clay is determined to find his sister and, against the advice of local police and terrified inhabitants, he heads off to Crystal Lake along with a group of college kids who are looking for an all-thrills weekend. Little do they realise, however, that they've entered the domain of one of the most terrifying specters in American film history - that infamous killer who haunts Crystal Lake armed with a razor-sharp machete. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Jason Voorhees...
